I am reloading my entire Ubuntu Operating system, that is what! (-: Oh damn. If you love yourself you might want to refrain from 12.04.
Let those with ears, hear.
- Its a sunny day. Lovely as only this area can be in the spring. Living in the NW may be hell most of the time but every so often well, it gets real pretty! Happy spring my friends. Today, 37 yrs ago I met my dear Leon and yes, we still celebrate our meeting day!
- If you look to the south east you will see an interesting triple conjunction of Spica (alpha Virgo) Saturn and the moon. Of course that is if it isn't raining where you live - which it is doing here in the NW.

Officially spring despite the weather. Have a lovely day and don't forget to smell the flowers.
- Is this really Friday already? Honey's off this weekend but he is going to work overtime soon. Darn! I hate overtime. Money can't replace a happy and awake husband to talk to in the afternoon!
I walked 2 miles yesterday.

- I'm working in my back room.. part study, library, storage, sewing, craft room --- I'm doing some serious throwing out at this time. Just has to be done. Its a challenge for me.
Something needs to change, and yes, this could be called spring cleaning! Closets are next!
(not that our spring is a real spring. Its raining all week and our temperatures are between 50-38.. hovering mostly on in the 40s.
- It snowed again this morning at 3 - Leon dear was just leaving for work.. it was just a powdering, though, at least here.. the highlands may have gotten more.
- Happy Spring Equinox 2012!! The violets are in bloom. The trees are flowering and It is raining and windy here.. with gusts reaching 30 mph... its not that I am complaining.. or anything .. (;

Sister Moon was glorious, and our evening was perfect. We are very blessed to be quite rural ~ and so the latticework of stars overhead is breathtaking on clear nights; something so many no longer have the opportunity to experience with the light pollution from the vast cities...
Moldavite is my signature "stone". I have many pieces I have collected over the years, but it can be difficult to find and pricey as it is so finite a resource, and rare. Many people cannot wear it at all, as it is energetically overwhelming, and is known to cause headaches and a lack of ability to focus. For me, it draws me back to the stars; I will occasionally wear it with hematite, onyx or jet as combined with it, they produce a grounding/centering effect. :-)

| Hello Dear! Yes, it is a "Super Moon" tonight and we are planning to go out and bask in her glory! ((smile)) I am hoping against hope that we will have clear weather; we have had nothing but clouds and drizzle for the last several days. It has cleared up beautifully this afternoon, so I pray it will hold for this evening. I have several magickal items and crystals/stones I will leave out to cleanse and charge. One is a very large Moldavite pendant I wear on a daily basis.
On the 20th is a New Moon lunar eclipse; energetically very powerful... Then a Full Moon lunar eclipse in June. :-) Enjoy it Dear One! Magickal times...

Well, the Sun'll come out tomorrow... ;-D We are having a nice day today, but after this it is going to be cloudy and rainy for the next week! I am so looking forward to getting out in my garden too, but here in Maine we don't plant until close to Memorial Day because the ground stays too cold. But, yes, Spring will get here, eventually...
My Family and I do not celebrate Easter ~ we celebrate the Vernal Equinox, and so we have already enjoyed our celebration a couple of weeks ago, but we do look forward to a quiet Family week-end. Have a beautiful week-end and I hope you have been enjoying your special Holy Grail day ~ I like that; it sounds lovely!

| 68 and raining. Hasn't snowed for a couple of weeks and then it didn't stay long. I'm loving the short winter we had. Amazing. I hope your snow doesn't hang around long. I've had windows open for almost a week now and for the last several days, when I get up and let the dogs out, I prop the front door open and enjoy the day. I finally found the box with the sweater I crocheted for my Dad in it. When I get it out of storage, I will put up a pic at handmade heaven. He loved the sweater and when he died, my mother made sure I got it back. I hope you have a lovely day. HUGS my Sweet Friend. I treasure your friendship. (Do you Skype by chance?) |

An odd legend about this sauce. Puttanesca means 'whore' in Italian. The story I have heard is that the Neapolitan whores would come home after a hard night's work and cook this - sound's about right, doesn't it? This is one of my favorite sauces. ... more
